Contest: open to all cartoonists
Theme: TIME
Sections: A) CARTOONS; B) STRIPS
Entries: max. 3 works. The works must be original, without titles and accompanied by author's entry-form and biography
Size: free
Technique: free
Deadline: January 18, 2008
Prizes: "Scacchiera International Grand Prize" for each section
Opening and prize distribution: April 12, 2008
Exhibition: April 12 - May 25, 2008
Catalogue: each participating artist will receive a copy (by enclosing 7,00 €uro for the postage charges)
Remark: the works will not be returned and will be included in the "Umoristi a Marostica Museum"

Results of 2nd International GREEKARTOON Cartoon Contest "Future Children"

Dear Artists and Friends,
The GREEKARTOON with a great pleasure announces that the Contest Jury Committee has selected the 3 Award and the 7 Mention winning cartoons for the 2nd International Cartoon Contest entitled “Future Children”. The contest has been initiated by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, in which 473 cartoonists, from 67 countries, participated with 892 cartoon works.
1st Prize: Pol Leurs - Luxembourg
2nd Prize: Moacir Knorr Gutterres - Brazil
3rd Prize: Jitet Koestana - Indonesia

Please note that the selected works will be exhibited in Athens from November 20 to the end of the month. After that will be exhibited in Thessaloniki.
